.NET Developer

Job Brief


Depth Offshore Inc is a fast growing BPO in Clark serving primarily Australian clients and other Depth Industries companies, which include international freight forwarding.


We are seeking a .NET Developer responsible for building .NET applications using C#, ASP.NET, and MVC creating front-end and back-end apps that will integrate with various technologies. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these layers of our applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. A commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is essential.

Responsibilities

  • Translate application storyboards and use-cases into functional applications
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable code
  • Integrate data storage solutions
  • Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to mitigate and address these issues
  • Help maintain code quality, organization, and automation

Skills

  • Strong knowledge of .NET web framework
  • Proficient in C# and/or VB.NET, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming
  • Skill for writing reusable libraries
  • Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
  • Knowledge of concurrency patterns
  • Familiarity with Microsoft SQL Server
  • Experience with popular web application frameworks
  • Familiarity with Windows Presentation Framework
  • Knack for writing clean, readable, and easily maintainable code
  • Understanding of fundamental design principles for building a scalable application
  • Experience creating database schemas that represent and support business processes
  • Basic understanding of Common Language Runtime (CLR), its limitations, weaknesses, and workarounds
  • Experience implementing automated testing platforms and unit tests
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git, SVN, and TFS
  • Experience using Telerik tools is desirable
  • Experience in Ionic Framework and Angular 2+

  • MUST be knowledgeable of .NET web framework, C# and/or VB.NET, with a good knowledge of their ecosystems
  • At least two years’ experience in related fields is preferred

Job Brief

We are seeking a Receptionist and Executive Assistant to join our team with the following duties and qualifications:

Essential Job Function

  • This person will be the frontline of all incoming calls for Depth Offshore and Depth Logistics in the Philippines and meet all visitors in a professional, warm and friendly manner.

Other duties include:

  • Clerical and executive assistant support primarily to the Owner/Managing Director and other executives
  • Preparation of meeting agendas and taking minutes of same
  • Co-ordination of daily huddles and other meetings
  • Take Brisbane office phone call overflow
  • Assist with recruitment and on-boarding of new team members
  • Assist with creation of company-wide proposals and presentations
  • Keep the reception and meeting rooms professionally presented at all times
  • Maintain office facilities

Minimum qualifications

Role Requirements:

  • Exceptional multi-tasking skills and attention to detail
  • Outstanding communication skills – both verbally and written
  • Strong Google docs experience
  • Possess a ‘can do’ attitude and a willingness to pitch in to get the job done

We are looking for a professional with a background in software development who can display exemplary leadership of our international IT team and technology needs. He or she will be accountable for leading and evaluating our existing team, technologies and processes, and then advising the Directors on the optimum ways to develop our IT capability to create competitive advantage and cost efficiency.

This is an executive team role with the company and the successful candidate will contribute to developing the company’s overall strategic direction and oversee digital development projects internally and externally ensuring they are timely and within budget delivery.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Analyse the technology we currently use for design, development and administration for efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate and supervise project managers, and ensure professional resource usage, allocation and timely, profitable delivery of projects with a commitment to excellence and high productivity
  • Promote and influence team culture that aligns with the business and its core values
  • Supervise the development and advancement of our IT and communications network
  • Negotiate contracts with IT vendors and service providers for installing new technology and training employees on its use
